This Sunday's sermon - "One Man Matters" Ezekiel 22:29-30
 
Christians Following the Pattern

Christ detailed the pattern in the New Testament for His church :

    • Original Savior. Salvation from sin is not found in ourselves, in old gods or new prophets. The original Savior is Jesus Christ and we uphold Him in all things. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
    • Original gospel. The Scriptures reveal the message of Christ. Over the centuries religious groups have taken away parts of it, or added to it. We determine to obey and teach the original, as revealed by Christ in the New Testament. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation.” (Romans 1:16)
    • Original church. Christ left a pattern in the New Testament for His church to follow in all that it does. We study it diligently and make sure the church of Christ organizes itself and conducts its activities accordingly. “Retain the standard of sound words.” (2 Tim.1:13)          
       

      Sunday Meetings:                              

    • 10:00 a.m. – Bible classes, adults & children. 
      11:00 a.m. – Worship, communion, teaching. 

        

     

               Wednesday Meetings: 7:30 p.m.
